Resurfacing

The court is inspected to assess its current condition, identifying any cracks, uneven areas, or worn-out surfaces. Preparation includes cleaning the court thoroughly to remove debris, dirt, and any old coatings.

Cracks and damaged areas are repaired using appropriate materials. This may involve filling cracks with specialized compounds or repairing sections of the base if necessary. Leveling uneven surfaces ensures a smooth and consistent playing area.

Depending on the type of court (e.g., acrylic, modular tiles), a new surface is applied. For acrylic courts, this involves applying layers of acrylic coating, which includes a base coat followed by colored layers and finishing coats. Each layer is carefully applied to achieve the desired texture and performance characteristics.

Once the surface layers have cured, court markings specific to the sport(s) played are applied with precision. This includes boundary lines, service lines, and any additional markings required.

Net posts, hoops, fencing, and other accessories are installed or reinstalled. Lighting systems may also be checked or upgraded to enhance visibility during evening play.
